Chris

A well-stocked efficiency condo apartment, within sight of the Convention Center and the monorail to Space Needle park, and only blocks away from the Light Rail station. We enjoy walking and were close to many parts of downtown, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. One morning we started with a walk to Chinatown for dim sum, then crossed over to Pioneer Park, where an interesting interactive environmental exhibit was taking place. We wandered along the waterfront past the Seattle aquarium and took a spontaneous ferry to Bainbridge where we saw an informative exhibit at the Historical Museum of the effects on the island when its Asian population was sent to internment camps during WW2. Back in Seattle, we continued on to the Space Needle and stopped to watch an Aloha festival concert in the park. Returning to the bnb area via monorail, we ended the day with a relaxing dinner at one of the many pubs along Pike St. A memorable day, and clear evidence of how this Airbnb was in a perfect location to take advantage of what Seattle has to offer.
